Burritos & dancing
I met Steve at Gordito's where I have only eaten max 2 times and the last time was several years ago. It was very good service, there was a girl by the menu signs who immediately took the order, then it was just to sit down at a table. The food came super quick, the staff came often to check that everything was good. All of a sudden we got a free fish taco which was amazingly good, I guess it was the owner who brought it, she said they had received an order with which there was some trouble. Our burritos were so well packed with food that we couldn't eat all of it, so we took a doggy bag.
We met a little earlier at Gordito's because we were invited to the home of Teresa who lives a stone's throw from El Cocotazo for a little hang before the dance. We had a lovely time with cheeses, crackers, fruit and vegetables and wine. When we arrived at El Cocotazo it was a little more quiet than last Friday but there were already people on the dance floor. It was unusually windy so we didn't get as sweaty as we usually do when we dance, which was super nice. Shortly after 11 pm I went home and so did Steve too who almost always stays a while longer but not this time.
It was another night with me waking up every now and then so it will be nice to have an evening at home and with that hopefully I will fall asleep early so I will have a good night's sleep.
When I was going to put up our new signs by the doorbells, I realized that the wall needed to be repainted first. The paint I bought last time doesn't cover as well as the paint we had before so I had to paint twice. Luckily the paint dries quickly so it didn't take long before I could finish painting the wall. Then I tackled the cleaning of my bathroom and bedroom, I finished by mopping the floor. I waited for the laundry from apartment #3 to arrive to have it done before I stopped working for the day but it didn't arrive until 2 1/2 hours later by that time I had just started getting ready to lay in the sun for a while.
As soon as my hair was washed in the outdoor shower and I laid down on the sunbed, the clouds came so I gave up and went inside instead. Since then it has changed between sunny and cloudy, I hope there will be no rain as I have just hung the guest's laundry to dry.
