Nu kan vi pusta ut i en liten stund i alla fall

Internet-supportkillen kom och bytte ut vår router som jag hade föreslagit. När han kom fungerade vårt internet igen men hur länge??? När han kopplade bort vårt gamla router upptäckte han att den var het vilket den inte ska vara, kan det ha varit problemet att den blev överhettad? Hur som helst efter byte av routern fungerade vårt internet som det ska och har så gjort sen dess. Support-killen sa när han åkte -jag vet fortfarande inte vad problemet var. Var inte det självklart eftersom efter byte av router fungerar allt som det ska igen?

När det problemet var ur världen bestämde jag mig för att ansluta mig till Tina som låg och solade vid poolen. Jag har inte solat på superlänge känns det som i alla fall. Vi har inte lika tryckande hett än så då går det riktigt bra att sola vid poolen utan att få värmeslag, vid poolen blev jag kvar lite över en timme, om det är sol imorgon blir det nog en timme till i solen.

Igår tog jag en extremt lång power nap på hela 2 timmar, jag tvingade upp ögonen vid 17-tiden, den blev för lång och för sent på dagen så jag var helt säker på att jag inte skulle kunna somna på kvällen. I och med det föddes idén att jag kanske skulle gå till Bahia Bazaar för att dansa lite men ju senare det blev på kvällen desto mer motvillig blev jag på att lämna sängen trots endast ett utbud av gamla töntiga filmer på Youtube. Vid 23-tiden stängde jag datorn och det tog inte alls lång stund tills jag sov så tydligen behövde jag en massa sömn.

Vi har ett problem till att lösa vilket är vårt varmvatten, jag pratade med Randy imorse som sa att han skulle till Sosua så han kunde stanna till på Luciano's för att kolla efter gasvattenvärmare så vi slapp åka dit i onödan. Jag är ganska så säker på att detta kommer Randy att glömma bort trots att han ska komma hit och hjälpa oss med två tankar med gas samt en av lamporna i pergolan.

Lampan slutade att lysa för ett tag sedan, efter byte av glödlampa funkade den igen men bara nån dag. När jag skruvade bort lampan för att se om nån kabel var lös då glödlampan var hel var det en ganska stor geckoödla inne bland kablarna. Sen dess har lampan hängt lite på sidan, nu lyser glödlampan men mycket svagare än normalt, det är det Randy ska se om han kan åtgärda.

Now we can relax for a little while anyway

The internet support guy came and replaced our router as I had suggested. When he came our internet worked again but for how long??? When he unplugged our old router it was hot which it shouldn't be, could that have been the problem that it overheated? Anyway after changing the router our internet worked as it should and has so since. The support guy said when he left -I still don't know what the problem was. Wasn't it obvious because after changing the router everything was working as it should again?

With that problem out of the way, I decided to join Tina who was sunbathing by the pool. I haven't been in the sun in a super long time, it feels like it anyway. We do not have  oppressively hot yet so it's really nice to sunbathe by the pool without getting heat stroke, I stayed by the pool for a little over an hour, if it's sunny tomorrow it'll probably be another hour in the sun.

Yesterday I took an extremely long power nap of a full 2 hours, I forced my eyes open around 5pm, it was too long and too late in the day so I was absolutely sure I wouldn't be able to fall asleep in the evening. With that the idea was born that I might go to Bahia Bazaar for a bit of dancing but the later it got in the evening the more reluctant I became to leave the bed despite only having a selection of old cheesy movies on Youtube. Around 11pm I closed the computer and it didn't take long at all to fall asleep so apparently I needed a lot of sleep.

We have one more problem to solve which is our hot water, I spoke to Randy this morning who said he was going to Sosua so he could stop at Luciano's to check if they have a gas water heater so we didn't have to go there unnecessarily. I'm pretty sure Randy will forget about that even though he's going to come over and help us with two tanks of gas and one of the lamps in the pergola.

The lamp stopped working a while ago, after changing the bulb it worked again but only for a day or so. When I unscrewed the lamp to see if any cables were loose as the bulb was intact, there was a rather large gecko lizard inside among the cables. Since then the lamp has been hanging a bit on the side, with the bulb working but much dimmer than normal, that's what Randy is going to see if he can fix.
