Vi börjar mer och mer återgå till det normala

Vi hade tur det kom inte en enda regndroppe igår eller under natten men tidigt imorse landade det ett par få regndroppar på marken som inte ens blev våt.

Jag vet inte vad det var som väckte mig strax efter 4 om det var min dröm eller vad, Ginger var det inte för hon sov bredvid mig. Jag kunde inte somna om så jag lyssnade på min ljudbok och försökte att vila utan att tänka på det ena och det andra som det lätt kan bli när man vaknar i vargtimmen. Strax efter 6 då var Ginger och jag redo för promenad, jag hoppades att Ginger skulle nöja sig med att bara gå till den stora gräsytan och sen vilja gå hem, men för ovanlighetens skull gick hon förbi den utan att vilja beträda den alls. Vi fortsatte att gå calle Almendra framåt till infarten till calle Bahia där vände vi och gick samma väg som vi kom efter att morgonbajsningen hade skett på gräsmattan vid hotellet/lägenhetskomplexet som är till salu.

Idag har vi återställt terrassen till det  mer normala, alla möbler är tillbaka på sina platser, innan det moppade jag hela terrassen. När möblerna var på plats tvättade vi av dom, även dom som har stått inomhus. Nu känns allt rent och fräscht. Den solsäng där tyget behövs fästas med dom nya skruvarna står på to-do-listan till nån annan dag. 

På Youtube hittade vi info om hur man ska fästa snöret i parasollet, Seija fixade det sen hjälptes vi åt att få det på plats. Vi fick trixa lite innan snöret spändes så att parasollet öppnades upp som det ska göra. Vi svängde lite på parasollet så att det svävar lite närmare poolen på så vis blev det mer utrymme att gå på runt bordet på alla håll och kanter.

Innan jag avslutade dagens arbete plockade jag upp och krattade ihop dagens skörd av mandlar och löv.

Jag hade egentligen inte nån lust att åka till Linares om det inte hade varit för klor och acido som Seija behöver till poolen då hade jag skjutit på det till måndag. Jag kollade inte i förrådet innan jag åkte för det fanns både acido och klor hemma så sån panik var det inte.

Cabaretes borgmästare som jag tror är i blåsväder igen har i alla fall fräschat upp entrén till stranden som är nästan vägg i vägg med Mojito. Man har till och med lagt gatsten i gången istället för sanden som var där innan och minskat höjden på muren som är på ena sidan. Jag har sett att folk har önskemål att man adderar en eller flera Cabarete-inspirerade väggmålningar, det är en bra idé tycker jag. Jag hoppas att man även har satt dit belysning för det behövs också.

Jag beställde grus för 5000 pesos igen, Seija sa att vi minst behöver ha lika mycket som sist, jag vet inte om hon har nån annan plan än den vi hade när hon behöver så mycket mer grus men men det går väl alltid åt. Leverans senare idag eller imorgon, det där jäkla kvittot som jag fick har fått ben och försvunnit. Jag är säker på att jag stoppade det i påsen men där låg det inte när jag kom hem, jag hoppas inte det blir nåt strul med leveransen för nu har jag inget bevis för köpet.

För att slippa att åka hem med klor och acido innan köp av mat till Ginger delade jag upp det köpet, jag köpte bara klor på Linares för att få plats med det under sätet då kunde jag handla på Janet's Plus istället för mitt vanliga Janet's. Jag köpte köttfärs special, den var väldigt orangeaktig??? Jag fick plats även med kassen från Janet's under sätet vilket var bra för min plan var att köpa acido på den andra järnaffären. Det visade sig att dom hade slut eller dom hade bara en liten flaska kvar alltså en halv gallon jag köpte den. Jag får kolla om Janet's har acido imorgon, för när jag var på Linares såg det inte ut som dom hade den acido som vi brukar att köpa, jag får ta en mer noggrann koll imorgon.

We are starting to get back to more and more normal mode

We were lucky it didn't fall a single drop of rain yesterday or during the night but early this morning a few raindrops landed on the ground that didn't even get wet.

I don't know what woke me up just after 4 if it was my dream or what, it wasn't Ginger because she was sleeping next to me. I couldn't fall back asleep so I listened to my audiobook and tried to rest without thinking about this and that which can easily happen when you wake up in the down. Just after 6 Ginger and I were ready for a walk, I was hoping that Ginger would be content with just going to the large grassy area and then want to go home, but for the sake of unusualness she walked past it without wanting to step on it at all. We continued walking along calle Almendra to the entrance to calle Bahia where we turned around and went the same way we came after the morning poop had taken place on the lawn at the hotel/apartment complex that is for sale.

Today we have restored the terrace to more normality, all the furnitures is back in its place, before that I mopped the entire terrace. When the furniture was in place we washed them, even the ones that have been indoors. Now everything feels clean and fresh. The sunbed where the fabric needs to be attached with the new screws is on the to-do list for another day.

On Youtube we found info on how to attach the cord to the parasol, Seija fixed it then we together put the parasol in place. We had to mess a little before the cord was tightened so that the parasol opened up like it should. We position the parasol so it hangs a little closer to the pool, in that way we got more space to walk around the table on all sides.

Before I finished the day's work I picked up and raked together the day's harvest of almonds and leaves.

I didn't really feel like going to Linares if it hadn't been for the chlorine and acid that Seija needs for the pool, then I would have put it off until Monday. I didn't check the storage room before I went, I should have done it because there we had both acid and chlorine so there wasn't a panic to buy it.

The mayor of Cabarete, I think the locals have been angry at him as many issues has not been fixed, at least he has refreshed the entrance to the beach, which is almost wall to wall with Mojito. They've even put paving stones in the walkway instead of the sand that was there before and reduced the height of the wall that is on one side. I've read that people want to add one or more Cabarete-inspired murals, I think that's a good idea. I hope they've also put lighting there because that's needed too.

I ordered gravel for 5,000 pesos again, Seija said that we need at least the same amount as last time if not more, I don't know if she has another plan than the one we had when she needs so much more gravel, but I guess we have many places that we can put it. Delivery later today or tomorrow, that damn receipt I got or I think I got has disappeared. I'm sure I put it in the bag but it wasn't there when I got home, I hope there won't be any trouble with the delivery because now I have no proof of the purchase.

To avoid going home with chlorine and acid before buying food for Ginger, I split that purchase, I only bought chlorine at Linares to have room for it under the seat then I could do small shopping at Janet's Plus instead of my usual Janet's. I bought ground beef special, it was very orangey??? I also had room for the bag from Janet's under the seat which was good as my plan was to buy acid at the other hardware store. It turned out that they were out of stock or they only had a small bottle left, I bought it. I'll have to check if Janet's has acid tomorrow, as when I was at Linares it didn't look like they had the acid we usually buy, I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow.
