Det skulle inte regna idag

Jag tänkte lite hur jag skulle lägga upp morgondagen vilket är idag, eftersom jag verkligen behöver handla bestämde jag mig för att skippa solande på stranden för att kunna kombinera mathandling med ett besök på marknaden och en titt på surftävlingen innan Janet's. Bada och sola kan jag göra en annan dag. När dagen började med lite regn blev jag inte så upprörd över att behöva ställa in min dag på stranden eftersom jag redan har skjutit den på framtiden. Jag var ganska så säker på att vädret skulle bli bättre ju längre dagen framskred och jag hade rätt dock hann jag med att hänga tvätt på tvättlinorna som jag fick flytta in under tak för det kom mer regn innan det vände till bara solsken. Jag hade en fundering på att sola vid poolen en stund nu när jag inte skulle sola på stranden men eftersom vädret var som det var hann jag duscha innan solen kom för att stanna.

Igår gjorde jag äntligen inventeringslistan för studio 1, när jag skulle skriva ut den då strejkade skrivaren. Jag var inte på humör för att krångla med det så listan fick vänta. Imorse tog jag med mig dator till studio 1 för att kolla av listan och göra ändringar direkt utan att skriva ut emellan. Jag insåg att vi bara har dricksglas i plast i studio 1, jag tycker att det även ska finnas dricksglas i glas så jag tog bort några i plast och adderade två i glas stället. För övrigt stämde listan förutom att jag hade fått med skärbrädorna på två ställen. När kollen av listan var klar då gjorde jag ett nytt försök att skriva ut och nu gick det, loggan blev dock lite konstigt men det fick vara. Jag har föreslagit att vi ska ta bort foldern med information som vi har i studio 1 och 2, vi har redan reducerat den för att slippa uppdatera den om nya tider osv för barer och restauranger som vi tipsar om. Vi hade även flera nödnummer som är minst 9 år gamla som vi inte vet om dom är i bruk. Nu blir det ett ark med sånt som bara rör Casa Almendra samt inventeringslistan båda ska vi laminera samt välkomst-infon som vi ger gästen vid incheckning den upprepar några av punkterna som finns på det andra arket men man kan inte vara för tydlig när det kommer till regler och bra att veta. Jag bestämde mig precis för att även skriva om välkomst-infon för att den har fel kod för wi-fi, vi har tejpat över den med den rätta koden, det är lite snyggare utan klipp och klistra. Båda arken med info finns både på engelska och spanska, inventeringslistan den är bara på engelska.

Nu ligger alla dokument på bordet i köket för laminering den gör jag hos Duplex på måndag.

Jag har meddelat Miguel att där vi har grävt ett hål i terrassen att där läcker det inte. Han har svarat att han kommer att planera in ytterligare grävjobb hos oss nästa vecka.

Med alla nya dokument för Casa Almendra fixade jag en folder där jag har en kopia på varje som vi lätt kan kopiera när det behövs och allt är samlat på ett ställe. I foldern placerade jag även alla andra små info-lappar som vi har extra av. Det slutade med att jag tömde hela lådan för att gå igenom allt, kasta, sortera och placera om. Vi har sparat alla betalda räkningar för Coraaplata och Edenorte från dagen vi flyttade in, jag tror att vi kan kasta dom, det räcker med att spara dom två senaste åren. Vid försäljning kan man/ska man kräva kopia på betalda räknar för det senaste halvåret så om vi har kopior för 2023, 2024 och 2025 har vi inget att oroa oss för.

Imorse fick jag pris på den dubbla trädörren som jag har skickat vidare till kvinnan, jag översatte Randys offert så att hon fick den både på spanska och engelska. Nu kan jag bocka bort det från min lista. Randy sa också att hans kompis Nico som var i kontakt med mig för ett bra tag sedan om en kund som var ute efter ett hus men som sen ändrade sig nu verkar det som kunden kan vara intresserad i alla fall. Seija är och handlar när hon kommer tillbaka ska jag ta ett snack med henne så att vi kan komma överens om ett lägsta pris när det inte är via en mäklare utan ett köp direkt av säljaren. Vi kommer att räkna in vår kostnad för advokat i vårt lägsta pris utifall att köparen använder nån advokat som vi inte känner oss trygga med, det är köparen som står för alla kostnader, som säljare behöver man inte ha en egen advokat men i det här läget då är det bäst att räkna in den kostnaden.

It shouldn't rain today

I thought about how I would plan my day tomorrow, which is today, since I really need to do grocery shopping, I decided to skip sunbathing on the beach in order to combine grocery shopping with a visit to the market and to take a look at the surfing competition before Janet's. Swimming and sunbathing I can do another day. When the day started with a little rain, I wasn't too upset about having to cancel my day at the beach as I had already postponed it to the future. I was pretty sure that the weather would get better as the day progressed and I was right, but I hung part of the laundry on the clotheslines which I had to move under cover as more rain came before it turned to just sunshine. I had a thought about sunbathing by the pool for a while now that I wasn't going to sunbathe on the beach, but since the weather was the way it was, I had my shower before the sun came to stay.

Yesterday I finally made the inventory list for studio 1, when I was going to print it the printer was on strike at the time. I wasn't in the mood to mess with it so the list had to wait. This morning I took my computer to studio 1 to check the list and make changes right away without printing in between. I realized that we only have plastic glasses in studio 1, I think there should also be a few of glass as well so I removed a few plastic ones and added two of glass instead. Otherwise the list was correct except that I had included the cutting boards in two places. When the check of the list was finished I made another attempt to print it and now it worked, the logo came out a bit strange but it had to be like that. I have suggested that we remove the folder with information that we have in studio 1 and 2, we have already reduced it to avoid updating about new hours etc. for bars and restaurants that we recommend. We also had several emergency numbers that are at least 9 years old that we don't know if they are in use. Now there will be a sheet with things that only concern Casa Almendra and the inventory list, both of which we will laminate, as well as the welcome information that we give the guest at check-in. It repeats some of the points that are on the other sheet, but you can't be too clear when it comes to rules and good to know. I just decided to also rewrite the welcome information as it has the old code for the wi-fi, we have taped it over with the new code, it will look nicer without tape on it. Both sheets with information are in English and Spanish, the inventory list is only in English.

Now all the documents are on the table in the kitchen to be laminated, which I will do at Duplex on Monday.

I have informed Miguel that where we have dug a hole in the terrace, there is no leak. He has replied that he will schedule additional digging in our house next week.

With all the new documents for Casa Almendra, I made a folder where I have a copy of each that we can easily make another copy when needed and everything is collected in one place. In the folder I also placed all the other little info-notes that we have extra of. It ended up with me emptying the entire drawer to go through everything, throw away, sort and rearrange. We have saved all the paid bills for Coraaplata and Edenorte from the day we moved in, I think we can throw them away, it is enough to save the last two years. When selling, you can/should demand copies of paid bills for the last six months so if we have copies for 2023, 2024 and 2025 we have nothing to worry about.

This morning I got the price for the double wooden door that I have forwarded to the woman, I translated Randy's quote so that she got it in Spanish and English. Now I can cross it off on my list. Randy also said that his friend Nico who was in contact with me a while ago about a customer who was looking for a house but then changed his mind now it seems that the customer may be interested anyway. Seija is doing shopping when she gets back I will have a chat with her so that we can agree on a lowest price when it is not through a broker but a purchase directly from the seller. We will include our cost for a lawyer in our lowest price in case the buyer uses a lawyer that we do not feel safe with. It is the buyer who is responsible for all costs, as a seller you do not need to have your own lawyer but in this situation it is best to include that cost.
